Je suis content de vous faire découvrir mes chouchous les "Martinez Brothers".
Ce duo de DJ et remixeurs New Yorkais originaires du Bronx sont connu depuis longtemps dans les clubs d'Ibiza dont l'Ushuaïa, mais également dans les lieux new yorkais.
Pour comprendre Steven et Chris Martinez, essayer d’imaginer qu’ils ont appris à peu près tout ce qu'ils savaient sur la House music au Shelter Club de New york. Ce qui rend d'autant plus incroyable que Shelter a été le premier grand concert des Martinez Brothers en 2006.
La musique a toujours joué un rôle important dans la maison Martinez : les garçons ont grandi en jouant de divers instruments, claviers, basse et principalement batterie et percussions.
C'est leur père, un vétéran des clubs de l'ère disco comme le Paradise Garage, qui les a orientés vers la disco et la house, via des programmes de radio.
Ce que j’aime plus que tout chez les Martinez Brothers, c'est leur sens du flow et de la diversité.
Les regardez derrières les platines est un véritable spectacle car ils n'arrêtent jamais de bouger, le sourire jusqu'aux oreilles et leur têtes se balançant à l'unisson. C'est incroyable à regarder et à écouter. Bref un véritable kiffe !!!

I am happy to introduce you to my favorites the "Martinez Brothers".
This duo of New York DJs and remixers from the Bronx has been known for a long time in the clubs of Ibiza including Ushuaïa, but also in New York places.
To understand Steven and Chris Martinez, try to imagine that they learned just about everything they knew about house music at the Shelter Club in New York. Which makes it all the more incredible that Shelter was the Martinez Brothers' first big gig in 2006.
Music has always played an important role in the Martinez household: the boys grew up playing various instruments, keyboards, bass and mainly drums and percussion.
It was their father, a veteran of disco-era clubs like Paradise Garage, who steered them towards disco and house, via radio programs.
What I love more than anything about the Martinez Brothers is their sense of flow and diversity.
Watching them behind the decks is a real spectacle as they never stop moving, smiling ear to ear and their heads bobbing in unison. It's amazing to watch and listen to. In short, a real love!!!
