On ne présente plus cette magnifique artiste qu’est Jocelyn Brown.
Jocelyn Lorette Brown est née le 25 novembre 1950 aux États-unis à Kinston (Caroline du Nord). Sa famille est composée de nombreux musiciens et chanteurs aguerris comme une tante très connue dans le monde du jazz, Barbara Roy.
Chanteuse de soul et de funk, elle fut révélée au grand public par Cerrone avec sont titre phare « You Are The One » en 1982.
Elle a également fait parti des groupes Inner Life et Change.
L’un de ses titres les plus connu est « Somebody Else's Guy » de 1984 à connu un succès international.
Aujourd’hui, âgée de 71 ans cette grande artiste prête encore sa voix puissante et envoutante a de nombreux compositeurs et artistes de House music tels que Cassuis ou Masters At Work.
Elle est d’ailleurs en tournée actuellement.
